During my undergraduate years, I attended Kyung Hee University, a prestigious institution located in Seoul, South Korea. I majored in Journalism and Communication, with a specialization in media philosophy, advertising, and public relations. The diverse curriculum and dedicated faculty at Kyung Hee provided a solid foundation for my future academic pursuits and professional career.
One of the most memorable courses I took at Kyung Hee University was a class on crisis management communication. This course taught me the importance of effective communication during times of crisis and how to strategize, plan, and execute appropriate responses. I learned to analyze various types of crises, develop tailored communication strategies, and navigate the challenges of managing public perceptions and reputations in high-pressure situations.
In addition to my coursework, I also participated in several marketing communication competitions during my undergraduate years. These competitions provided valuable opportunities to apply the skills and knowledge I had gained in my studies and work collaboratively with my peers to develop innovative marketing and communication strategies. My team's hard work and dedication were rewarded with multiple prizes, which not only boosted our confidence but also validated our understanding of the marketing communication field.
The combination of my academic experiences at Kyung Hee University and my participation in marketing communication competitions significantly shaped my personal and professional growth. My undergraduate studies in journalism and communication, as well as my specialization in media philosophy, advertising, and public relations, laid the groundwork for my current pursuit of a master's degree in AI-based marketing research at Korea University Business School.
As I continue my academic journey, I am grateful for the experiences and lessons I gained during my time at Kyung Hee University, which have informed my passion for marketing communication and prepared me for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
